THE KING OF PRUSSIA NOW BELONGS TO THE COMMUNITY!

Thank you to the 380 people who have invested or donated to make this project possible - you raised £275,000 in 2 ½ months – an amazing achievement! Without you this project could not happen.

A big thank you to my fellow directors who have worked hard to achieve this result: Jason Cole, Andrew Huckerby, Su Kaye, Felicity King, Ken Swan and Steve Willmore. Also to our close supporters and advisors for all their help, especially Leighton King (whose idea this was), Jeanette Pearce (for keeping us on course), Mike West (for “Long Live the King”), David McGahey and especially Andrew Shadrake whose guidance and advice on creating a community business has been completely invaluable.

As Mel Stride MP has said in tomorrow’s Mid-Devon Advertiser, “It has taken a lot of hard work, and their reward is even more hard work!”. We still need to raise another £125,000 in shares and donations, plus grants to pay for the building works and the creation of the cinema theatre, café bar restaurant and art centre. You can subscribe for shares here or here, and you can donate in exchange for future cinema tickets here.

We hope to have something to show for all this effort by the middle of next year.

LONG LIVE THE KING!
