Help us brighten up Bovey Paradiso

Our listed building exterior is shabby and not chic!
We want to bring the heritage features of the inside out to show how this Elizabethan long house building has been brought back to life for the community to enjoy.
We want visitors and locals alike to visit and be welcomed. It’s a shame that people say the building is looking shabby when the inside is so well preserved.
However, the decorating required for a listed building means that it’s not just a lick of paint - please see the pics in the gallery on this page and watch the YouTube video, presented by Paradiso Director David McGahey.

When we purchased the building, the external paintwork had deteriorated to such an extent that painting alone will not restore it (as you can see from the pictures presented here). As you know, we have restored the interior of the King of Prussia building to a high standard and preserved historical features, but we have not had the available funds to tackle the outside, step one would be the removal of all the old paint, which is quite a job!

Our thanks go to those who have supported us with generous donations, grants, and community shareholder support to date.
This year’s Giving Tuesday is Tuesday, 29th November and with your help us to make them proud of their support to make this landmark building stand out.
We want to make sure this community project is the centre of attention.
Please help us to look smart for everyone to enjoy and donate to our Giving Tuesday appeal!
