"Memorandum of understanding" Signed

Added: 19 June 2023

Recently The Bovey Tracey Players and Bovey Paradiso signed a memorandum of understanding to formalise the process of working together for the benefit of the Paradiso project.

When complete with the new cinema/theatre space, Paradiso will provide a much-needed performance venue for The Players. Not only that, but with well-planned theatre facilities, it will hopefully attract other theatre groups, concerts, comedy gigs etc, along with the opportunity to watch the latest films.

This will obviously cost money, and the Players have agreed to work with Paradiso in raising funds for the build to continue. In addition, The Players try and support local charities each year and this year they have chosen to support Paradiso.
All being well, the café/restaurant facilities will soon be completed to add to the already successful art gallery, and when funding permits a start will be made on building the auditorium at the rear of the building.

The photograph shows the Chairman of The Bovey Players, Nigel Gillingham on the left, with the Chair of the Paradiso project, David McGahey, signing the agreement.
