Two local good causes have received money from our Charity Auction held in May!

Heathfield Revival Youth Club and the Bovey Tracey Community Fridge have both received their share of the £1,748 raised.

Pictured are Cllr Corin Burton receiving £600 on behalf of Heathfield Revival Youth Club, and Ruth Dixon receiving £600 on behalf of the Bovey Community Fridge, presented to them by Bovey Paradiso Chairman Stephen Willmore and Gallery Manager Jon Arnold.

"This kind donation will be transformative for the Revival Youth Group," said Corin Burton. "We’re very happy to be restarting Revival in September, with two additional taster events over the summer. Now, we can build on the basic service we were starting with and hope to add visits, more equipment and better outreach over the coming months. Thank you so much to everyone who bought something at the auction." We're very pleased to be able to help!

The remainder of the money will go to Bovey Tracey Paradiso Arts.

Again, we'd like to thank the Paradiso staff and volunteers, everyone who attended the evening, our generous buyers and, of course, our talented artists for their wonderful artwork donations!
