THANK YOU FOR SAVING THE KING!
Thanks to over 300 people who have invested in, or donated to, the Bovey Paradiso project. We have raised enough money to buy the King of Prussia on 30 November.
On 1 December the building will start its new life and THE KING OF PRUSSIA ARTS CENTRE.
We still need planning permission (we have been in constructive dialogue with Teignbridge Planning Department for 8 months) and will formally apply on 1 December.
And we still need to raise a lot more money to pay for the building and conversion works.
We expect that some of this will be grants, but we will keep the share issue open until the end of February because we know of some others who would like to invest but have not yet done so.
To become an investor click here or invest online here.
The crowd-funding with future cinema tickets in exchange for donations is now over a third of the way towards its goal and will remain open till the end of the year. To donate and receive cinema tickets please click here or pick up a form from Spar in Union Square.
This is a community project led by a group of committed local people: (l-r), Jason Cole, Felicity King, Ken Swan, Steve Willmore, Andrew Huckerby, Su Kaye and Tony Pearce.
