Paradiso member and author Maureen Boon has given two talks at St Catherine’s Primary School. The first, on July 7th, was on the Battle of Bovey Heath on January 9th 1646 to the Year 6 class. The second, on July 10th was about the Templer Way including the Dartmoor granite railway and Stover canal, to the Year 2 class. Following this Maureen has been working on a book for children and their teachers on the Templer Way, taking photos along the route and carrying out research at the Heritage Centre in Bovey Tracey.
