Forget dusty fruit bowls and perfect shading. For the final session in this series, we’re taking the traditional still life and turning it on its head. We’ll be looking at everyday objects, bottles, flowers, and fabrics and deconstructing them into bold shapes, energetic lines, and vibrant textures. This is about capturing the rhythm of a composition rather than just drawing "things." Perfect for both beginners and intermediates looking to loosen up their style.
Each of our abstract workshops are stand-alone classes so don’t worry if you can’t attend every class or missed the first session. We will take you through the process of creating an abstract art painting and the processes involved. Along with inspiration and suggestions for further development and reading materials. Tea and coffee provided.
Aimed at: Beginner to intermediate level.
Materials: Materials are provided but you’re welcome to bring along anything you particularly want to use.
