National Theatre Live - Mrs Warren’s Profession
Bovey Paradiso Arts is delighted to bring the next in the National Theatre Live perfomances - Mrs Warren's Profession written by Bernard Shaw and directed by Dominic Cooke
Five-time Olivier Award winner Imelda Staunton (The Crown) joins forces with her real-life daughter Bessie Carter (Bridgerton) for the very first time, playing mother and daughter in Bernard Shaw’s incendiary moral classic.
Vivie Warren is a woman ahead of her time. Her mother, however, is a product of that old patriarchal order. Exploiting it has earned Mrs. Warren a fortune – but at what cost?
Filmed live from the West End, this new production reunites Staunton with director Dominic Cooke (Follies, Good), exploring the clash between morality and independence, traditions and progress.
Tickets for this performance are priced at £15.00
Tickets are non-refundable. There are only a limited number of tickets available and are released on a first come first served basis
Doors at Paradiso will open at 18.30 with the film starting at 19.00. Drinks (licensed bar) and light snacks will be available to purchase. There will be an intermission for refreshments and leg stretching.
There is no on street parking at Paradiso and we recommend that you park at Mary Street car park - a short 5-10 minute walk.
