National Theatre Live - Hamlet

Bovey Paradiso is delighted to partner with National Theatre Live to bring Hamlet, to Bovey.

Olivier Award-winner Hiran Abeysekera (Life of Pi) is Hamlet in this fearless, contemporary take on Shakespeare’s famous tragedy.

Trapped between duty and doubt, surrounded by power and privilege, young Prince Hamlet dares to ask the ultimate question – you know the one.

National Theatre Deputy Artistic Director, Robert Hastie (Standing at the Sky’s Edge, Operation Mincemeat) directs this sharp, stylish and darkly funny reimagining.

We will have three screenings, a matinee plus a evening performance without subtitles and a performance with subtitles. For dates times and prices -

Drinks (licensed bar) and light snacks will be available to purchase. There will be an intermission for refreshments and leg stretching.  

We recommend that you park at the Mary Street car park, a short 5 minute walk and free after 6pm.
