Rhizome is a diverse group of artists who learn from and support one another, creating an environment of ongoing self-education, mentoring and skills-sharing. It provides a safe and encouraging space to explore ideas, discuss different approaches to creative practice, and consider important topics from a range of perspectives.

Since its formation, Rhizome has continually reflected, re-evaluated and evolved, responding to the changing needs and interests of its members. This openness to change has enabled the group to grow from strength to strength as an established creative support network in Plymouth.

As part of a dynamic, thriving and inclusive culture, RAC seeks to recognise and promote the contribution that art and creativity make to individuals, communities and wider society.
