Paradiso is pleased to be able to bring “I Swear“ to Bovey following the recent BAFTA awards where it's star, Robert Aramayo won the prestigious prizes for Best Actor and Best Rising Star.
This film is based on the true story of Scottish Tourette Syndrome campaigner John Davidson, with the director stating it's about 98% accurate. Almost every scene reflects John's own descriptions and documented life, making it a highly faithful dramatisation of his journey with Tourette's, which includes his famous "F*** the Queen" moment.
It's both a moving and disturbing film. The film contains adult content and very strong language, as you might expect.

We have two screenings: an evening screening with subtitles on Thursday 9th April and one without subtitles on Friday 10th April. Tickets are priced at £8.50 plus booking fee. Please note tickets are non-refundable.
For evening performances, doors open 6.30 and screening starts at 7pm. Drinks (licensed bar) and light snacks will be available to purchase. We recommend that you park at the Mary Street car park, a short 5 minute walk and free after 6pm.
