Café and Restaurant

The concept of Café Paradiso is that it would provide a good quality café in support of the art gallery, cinema and theatre for much of the day.

At lunchtime and in the evening, it will offer a high-quality restaurant to enhance dining in Bovey Tracey.

Linking the historic King of Prussia building and the new contemporary addition will be a glass‐roofed atrium. The atrium and gallery will house the Café Paradiso. This all-day operation will fulfil several functions for visitors. It will provide a meeting point for coffee and snacks, light meals for pre/post cinema goers or a destination dining area for lunches and dinners. It will also provide retail snacks and beverages for cinema customers.

At the core of the catering operation is a commitment to providing excellent value food and drink using the very best of our local producers. Devon is famous for its commitment to food and beverages production and the environment, and we intend to maintain this reputation at the Café Paradiso.

Maintaining good value for money in our products is vital to attract and retain our local customers. Drawing a wide range of customers can present challenges for catering operations; however, recognition of guest requirements through research and feedback will identify the most suitable combination. Working with local producers, where appropriate, will enhance the relevance of the Café Paradiso to the community and put quality at the forefront of our offer. In terms of the environment, we use 'Green' electricity and we ware an early signatory to the 'Plastic Free Bovey' movement and will continue to deliver on this commitment.
